In chapter one, Paul commended the Colossians for their faithful witness. (Romans 3:23-24) Imagine yourself in courtroom standing before the judge. Work as unto God, not men. When we are working as unto God, we can ask him for wisdom when we need it. Read James 1:5. God tells us wisdom is readily available to those who need it. With wisdom, we See why Paul says it is. A Worker's Good Testimony Colossians 3:22-25 I. Be Obedient to the Boss (v. 22) a. Obey them whole-heartedly like you would obey Jesus (Ephesians 6:5-6) b. This respects the Lord II. Work as if the Job is for Jesus (v. 23-24) a. Labor at 100% as Jesus would require (Ephesians 6:7) b. One of the passages my focus has been drawn to is Colossians 3:23-24. "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward.
